This comprehensive program addresses the whole horse from
the hoof to the mind in an eight week intensive with lots of hands on learning.
The 360-hour curriculum is an integrated program based in classical
western and eastern principles of holistic health care and maintenance for
horses. The basis of the work is to effect real changes by learning to see,
influence and release fluid movement thereby promoting health and optimizing
the athletic potential inherent in each horse.
Class sizes are limited so each student will have time
for individualized attention and time to get real world experience with
a variety of horses. You'll study the art of reading
a horse to gain the trust of horses, draw and hold their attention and
to soften and supple them through proven horse handling methods.
A unique class in equine movement will be an in-depth study beginning
with what natural, relaxed and free expressive movement looks like
and then learning to see where movement is hindered and must be released.
Hoof care will also be considered as the foundation of soundness and
will cover what to look for in a good trim, hoof anatomy and pathologies.
The program includes fifty hours of business so that when
you are finished you have the tools needed to begin and grow your own successful
equine massage business. Not just theories, work will generate your own
self-development, business and marketing plans so that you'll hit the ground
running.
